The companies’ economic success is founded on their employees excellent qualifications. As a prime location for aeronautics, space and space applications, Bremen brings together business and science within the framework of a unique research infrastructure. Cutting-edge research in Bremen and Bremerhaven consistently drives development and progress forward, particularly in the field of materials sciences, remote sensing, bionics and robotics. The industry association AVIASPACE BREMEN e.V. was founded among companies, colleges, and universities with their numerous institutes, such as the AWI, DFKI, DLR, Fraunhofer, and the Institute for Environmental Physics.

The main objective of Bremen and Bremerhaven's participation in ESA Industry Space Days is to showcase the region as one of Europe's leading aeronautics and space hubs while highlighting its dynamic innovation ecosystem. As the host region of the ESA Business Incubation Centre Northern Germany (ESA BIC NG), Bremen is committed to supporting space-related startups and enabling their participation in the event.
