CFAA is a joint UPV/EHU–industry research centre (Zamudio, Spain) working at MRL 6–8 on advanced manufacturing: 5-axis machining of superalloys and titanium, EDM, broaching, additive manufacturing and post-processing, welding, metrology and X-ray CT, plus process monitoring and AI-based optimisation. Experience in finishing, machining and traceable quality control of aerospace components.
